Local Processing
All text cleaning happens locally in your browser. Your pasted content never leaves your device. We process everything client-side to ensure maximum privacy.
Storage
We store your theme preference, selected options, and your last pasted text in localStorage to improve your experience. This data remains on your device and is never transmitted.
Contact Form
If you submit the contact form, your form fields (e.g., name, email, message) are sent to our form service provider, Formspree, solely for the purpose of delivering your message to us. Your pasted content from the editor is not transmitted.
Third-Party Assets
We use CDNs for fonts, icons, and Tailwind CSS. These assets do not receive any of your pasted text. They're only used to enhance the visual experience of the application.
Analytics
We currently do not use analytics that track your content. If we add privacy-safe analytics in the future, we will update this policy and provide an opt-out option where applicable.
Data Retention
Local storage persists until you clear your browser data or click "Reset" in the options panel. Contact form submissions are retained according to Formspree's retention policies.
Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information you provide via the contact form. To exercise any rights, contact us at support@wypal.app.
Children's Privacy
Wypal is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or as defined by local law). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
